Midland Automobile Club Vintage and Classic Section
What is a classic car?
Well, opinions vary on this but it is generally accepted that it is a vehicle over around 20 years old.
The M.A.C. has a thriving Classic section which organises three or four runs per year as well as a Concours at Shelsley. The runs are non competitive, highly social and tend to include places of historical interest. Between 30 and 40 cars take part and all agree that the days are enjoyable. We are always happy to see more people joining in, and, your Classic does not have to be a sports car and it does not have to be fast - we have Ford Anglias and Morris Minors amongst the Austin Healeys and E type Jaguars and their owners all enjoy themselves.
The section has increased in popularity with more members wishing to join these events. The number of cars may need to be restricted and are on a first come first served basis. So, watch MAC News and get your entry form and fee in as soon as possible!
Eligibility of cars: Vintage, classics and modern sports cars.
