A class of 19 Ferraris were entered in a round of the Pirelli Ferrari Hillclimb championship won by Jon Goodwin in his F430 (53.26 seconds), and there were also six dedicated classes with a large total of 55 entrants in the Lotus 7 Club Speed Championship, with their overall BTD coming from Simon Rogers in his Caterham R400 with a time of 49.27 seconds.

Shelsley Walsh Clerk-of-the-Course Brian Lyall dusted off his helmet and race suit, coming out of retirement to compete in his Caterham 7. 'As a regular Clerk I have taken some ribbing today, but I thoroughly recommend a day at our MIRA sprint to any speed eventers' said Brian adding "It's quite a challenge".
