Clee Hills Trial - 24th January

The club's 2010 competition year got off to a wonderful start on a sunny and mild Sunday.
There were a couple of dramas for the organising team immediately prior to the event, but on the day, everything went very smoothly indeed. Adrian Tucker-Peake organised the event on behalf the club, very ably assisted by Graham Austin.

Great congratulations must go to these two for putting on a really excellent event. With three new sections, and an unusually brain-teasing special test, the event was as fresh as ever, and proved extremely popular with competitors, marshals and spectators alike. Sixty-three entries were received, with fifty-nine starting the event.

Provisional results show that the principal silverware will be heading to Eardiston, near Tenbury Wells for the event was won by Simon Woodall (who has organised the event for the past three years), and the trophy for the best MAC Member went to Simon's near neighbour, local garageman Dean Yarranton in his first trial!

A full report will appear in the next edition of "MAC News".
