At Lunchtime on Sunday, the capacity crowd was treated to a tremendous display from a Spitfire. People at the top of the hill said that the aeroplane was underneath them for some of the time. Chris Drewitt's commentary went hand in hand with the display.

Andy Priaulx drove his ETCC winning BMW 3 series up Shelsley Walsh, returning to the hill for the first time in 10 years. Andy will be busy throughout autumn 2005 completing the World Touring Car Championship and also testing twice for Williams BMW F1 at Silverstone and at Jerez.

2003 and 2004 Champion Adam Fleetwood returned to the seat in his old Gould that Roy Lane now owns. Adam drove on Sunday at Shelsley Walsh.

Graeme Wight Jnr returned to Shelsley Walsh with his still developing Predator V10 3.0. Running on Pneumatic valves the engine sounds glorious up Shelsley Walsh with the echo reverbarating through the trees as the car ascents to the top. Unfortunately the car had gearbox problems and did not qualify for the run off on Saturday.

Martin Groves receives his prize for the record winning run at Shelsley Walsh on Saturday 20th August. His time of 23.77 seconds left the crowd up the hill breathless...

Will Mason went deep on the brakes by just a couple of yards into Bottom S on Saturday afternoon, tipping the car into a spin. Just 18 years old and already the winner of a round of the championship at Wiscombe this season, Will is a future hill climb champion once in a big car.
