The Future of Shelsley Walsh

Old photograph of a car on the Shslsley HillThe new 99 year lease which ensures the future of the Shelsley Walsh hill climb is now operational. Apart from long term security it has also given access to a range of buildings which were not included on the previous lease and restoration work on them has begun.

A display area for the club's archives will be arranged together with a museum where cars and memorabilia from the hills past will be shown. A restaurant, regalia sales area, additional toilets and a club office will follow whilst the old water mill is being restored to working condition and should become a visitor attraction.
